Youth Assisting Youth

Youth Assisting Youth is a non-profit organization that operates a peer mentorship program in which older youth mentor younger children facing challenges. The program matches mentors mentors aged 16-29 with kids aged 6-15 offering guidance, support and positive role models.

On-on-one Peer mentoring

Youth peer mentors act as positive role models to at-risk newcomers. YAY provides services within the city of Toronto and York Region.

Girls Empowerment Workshop

10-week program for girls (self-identified) that focuses on building confidence and self-esteem, tops range from gender roles to healthy relationships.

Saddle up for Success

Newcomers and at-risk youth visit a farm, learn to ride a horse and connect with nature.
