Skills for Change provides comprehensive solutions to connect individuals particularly newcomers and underserved groups with opportunities for success in Canada. Their mission is to enhance skills, expand opportunities, and improve access to quality employment nation wide.

Services Provided:

Information and referral, language assessment, language instruction, settlement services, integrated training, Employment preparation, business skills, mentoring, entrepreneurship, skilled trades, Women in Trades program, Pre-apprenticeship programs, Newcomer and Refugee Employment Programs, Skills development courses. Youth Programs Offered:

Black Youth BYE

The Black Youth Entrepreneurship (BYE) program teaches and assists Black youth in enhancing their entrepreneurial skills.

Black Youth STEM

The Black Youth Action Plan STEM Project, supports Black youth in underserved communities in Toronto who are interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
