The HWDSB offers a variety of free educational courses, career development, and employment training opportunities for adult learners 18+.

Services Provided:

Adult Day School, Night School, Summer School, English as a Second Language (ESL), Language Instruction for New Comers (LINC) Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) Courses are delivered in person and online. *Please note that this is not an exclusive list of HWDSB educational programs. Youth Programs Offered:

PLAR (Prior Learning and Assessment Recognition)

PLAR enables mature students to earn credits from knowledge and skills acquired outside of formal educational settings.

Co-op Work Credit program

Students have an opportunity to earn credits through their current job or work placement.
