Aboriginal Legal Services provides free legal services to low income Aboriginal people living in the Toronto area.

Services Provided:

Legal Services include: Housing, ODSP/OW, Indian Act Matters, Canada Pension, Disability, Police Complaints, Criminal Injuries, Compensation, Human Rights, Victim Rights Advocacy, Crminal Matters, Child Protection Legal Services for Indigenous Clients, Gladue Reports. Youth Programs Offered:

Community Council

A criminal diversion program for Aboriginal youth and adult offenders living in Toronto.

Giiwedin Anang Council

Indigenous Family Dispute Resolution Program, this program is open to Youth, families with Indigenous children and the child welfare sector. See website for referral information.

Courtworker Program

The Courtworker program offers support throughout youth, criminal or family court proceedings to aborginal individuals.
